CBS Threatens To Sue ABC Over Reality Show Series

CBS is threatening to sue ABC over a new reality series they plan to debut this summer.

The new reality show, "Glass House," apparently is extremely similar to CBS' long-running show "Big Brother."

Contestants in this new reality show would share a house and constantly be filmed, while every week a contestant would be eliminated from the residence.

CBS has sent ABC a stern letter warning them that if they continue on with their plans of airing the show, they will face copyright infringement charges.

Part of the letter reads that CBS is "putting ABC on notice that its continued development and production of 'Glass House' exposes ABC to liability."

"Big Brother" began its run on CBS back in 2000. "Glass House" is set to premiere on ABC on June 18.
