Linda Evangelista and Francois-Henri Pinault have resolved their two year child support battle. The former supermodel, 46, and businessman (currently married to Salma Hayek), 49, did not reveal the specifics of their settlement.
The battle stemmed from disputes over what Pinault ought to pay to support their 5-year-old son, Augustin. Evangelista gave birth to the child after her relationship to Pinault concluded; she first sought support in 2010 when Pinault refused to satisfy her requests.
Evangelista claims that costs for the child amount to $46,000 per month.
"He has gone a long way toward meeting those original demands," a source close to the negotiation said of Pinault.
"Everybody's glad for the sake and the benefit of the child that it's done," Pinault's lawyer David Aronson said outside the Manhattan Family Court.
