Jessie J, who was recruited to appear on the first U.K. season of The Voice, may be canned by BBC bosses after showing up to work late several times and, more recently, calling the program "lame."
J made the comment during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, while asked about producers' advice that she wear the same outfit during each of the auditions:
"It was lame and not thought through."
She added that she had not tuned in to any of the episodes which have aired so far, which reportedly further vexed her bosses.
The last episode of the singing contest tallied 6.6 million viewers, a low for the show, and four million less than an episode aired two weeks earlier. In the meantime, the producers have brought in guest stars Cheryl Cole and Kylie Minogue to attract viewers.
