German trade data for March is due at 2:00 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the data, the euro fell against most major currencies.
At 1:55 am ET, the euro was worth 1.2975 against the greenback, 0.8039 against the pound, 1.2013 against the franc and 103.45 against the yen.
