The Japanese yen extended its Asian session's rally against other major currencies in early European deals on Wednesday.
The yen reached 2-day highs of 79.67 against the greenback, 103.32 against the euro, 128.48 against the pound and 86.03 against the franc.
Against the aussie, kiwi and the loonie, the yen hit new multi-month highs of 80.17, 62.55, 79.47, respectively.
