A new collection of Beatles photographs by Harry Benson, taken over a two year period in the 1960s, will be published in book form by Taschen.
The Beatles: on the Road 1964-1966 features includes hundreds of black-and-white photos in various intimate settings. Benson most famously snapped a pic of the Beatles having a pillow fight in a hotel room in Paris.
Benson also wrote an introductory essay for the book, in which he sings the band's praises:
"These photos convey a really happy period for them and for me. It all comes down to music, they were without a doubt the greatest band of the 20th century, and that's why these photographs are so important."
The book, currently available for pre-order at Amazon.com, retails for $600.
