The trailer for Journeys, the Jonathan Demme directed Neil Young tour film has been released. It features Young driving through Omemee, the town in which the song "Helpless" is set, the place where he grew up.
"It certainly doesn't look anything like it did before. But I can smell it," remarks Young as he pilots his 1956 Crown Victoria through the locale.
The film combines tour footage from Neil Young's 2011 solo show at Toronto's Massey Hall with a road trip up through his native Ontario.
Demme has directed two previous Young docs: Neil Young: Heart of Gold (2006) and Neil Young Trunk Show (2009).
Journeys premiered at Sundance in January of this year and gets a general release on June 29.
