"Cougar Town" is making the move from ABC to TBS for the show's next season.
The show, which features Courteney Cox, will begin airing new episodes on TBS in early 2013, said the network in a news release on Thursday.
"We are thrilled to have Cougar Town moving to the TBS neighborhood as the network continues to expand its slate of original comedy series," said Michael Wright, the president and head of programming for TBS.
There has been no time slot set for the show just yet. The series is hoping the program will be received better on TBS since their viewership was slumping, with the show's third season drawing in an average of about 5.2 million viewers.
Other shows that have moved from broadcast channels to cable include "Southland" from NBC to TNT and "Conan" who moved from NBC to TBS.
