Everclear have released the track, "Be Careful What You Ask for," from their upcoming album, Invisible Stars, their first LP in six years.
"Always expect the unexpected," front man Art Alexakis told Spinner.com regarding the theme of the new song. "Embrace the weird and the wonderful because you are probably going to get both. Don't be afraid, just be careful. Be careful what you ask for, it might come true."
"Everything about this record came very naturally and it feels completely genuine to me," he added.
Everclear banded in Portland, Oregon in 1992 and has since sold over six million albums in the U.S. and Canada. Their hits include "Santa Monica," "I Will Buy You a New Life," "Wonderful" and "Father of Mine."
Invisible Stars in due June 26.
