Medgenics Q1 Loss Widens - Quick Facts

Medgenics Inc. (MDGN) posted first-quarter net loss of $2.71 million or $0.28 per share, wider than $0.34 million or $0.06 per share in the previous year period.

General and administrative expense for the first quarter increased to $1.36 million from $0.78 million in the comparable quarter last year, primarily due to higher legal and professional services fees and to increased activities in the U.S. as part of forthcoming clinical trials.
