Nordex Q1 Loss After Interest And Taxes Widens - Quick Facts

Nordex SE (NRDXF.PK) posted first-quarter consolidated loss after interest and taxes of 14 million euros versus loss of 1.8 million euros last year.

Quarterly sales grew to 198.3 million euros from 183.1 million euros in the previous year.

Going ahead, the company confirmed its forecast for 2012 of an increase in sales to 1 billion euro - 1.1 billion euros. Depending on sales and price trends, Nordex also expects to achieve an EBIT margin of between 1% and 3%. With rising capacity utilisation and profitability of the projects still to be executed, this profit will be achieved entirely in the second half of the year, Nordex noted.
