Home improvement retailer Home Depot, Inc. (HD) is slated to report first-quarter results. The company is expected to post earnings of $0.65 per share, higher than the year-ago quarter's $0.50 per share. Also, the company is anticipated to generate revenues of $17.90 billion, an increase from $16.82 billion in the prior-year quarter. The company's shares closed Monday's session at $49.88. Software solutions provider JDA Software Group Inc. (JDAS) is due to report first-quarter results. Earnings and revenue for the quarter are expected to be $0.57 per share and $171.24 million respectively. In the previous year, the company earned $0.45 per share on revenues of $163.61 million. On Monday, the shares closed trade at $27.75. (The stock declined almost 15% in Q1; MA(50)- $27.33; MA(100)- $28.27; 52-wk H/L $34.99/$22.09)

TJX Companies, Inc. (TJX) is expected to report results for the first quarter. The company is expected to earn $0.54 per share on revenues of $5.75 billion. In the year-ago quarter, the company reported earnings of $0.39 per share on revenues of $5.22 billion. The shares closed Monday at $39.70. (The stock up about 23% in Q1; MA(50)- $39.87; MA(100)- $36.89; 52-wk H/L $42.76/$24.60)

J. C. Penney Co., Inc. (JCP)) is scheduled to post first-quarter results. The company is expected to report a loss of $0.10 per share compared to earnings of $0.30 per share last year, with revenues estimated at $3.48 billion. JCP closed Monday's session at $33.54. (The stock up about 1% in Q1; MA(50)- $35.50; MA(100)- $36.86; 52-wk H/L $43.18/$23.44)

Additionally, Dick's Sporting Goods Inc. (DKS), Ralcorp Holdings Inc. (RAH), THQ Inc. (THQI), Saks Inc. (SKS) and SINA Corp. (SINA) will post their results today.
