Jay-Z is organizing his very own music festival set to take place in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park during Labor Day weekend. It is called the 'Budweiser Made In America' music festival and will feature musical acts of all kinds.
Jay-Z said in a statement that the fest "will encompass every genre of music, creating and showcasing the only genre that matters, 'great music.'"
The full roster of performers is expected to be announced soon.
The festival will also serve as a benefit for local non-profits with an unspecified portion of the benefits going toward them via the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
Jay-Z said: "It's great to partner with United Way again to support all of the positive work they do in the community."
Tickets for the festival will go on sale at ticketmaster.com and livenation.com on May 23.
