Eric Church has found himself embroiled in a war of words with Miranda Lambert and, by domestic proxy, Blake Shelton after he criticized TV singing competitions such as The Voice, on which Shelton appears.
"It's become American Idol gone mad," said Church in a Rolling Stone interview. "Honestly, if Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green f—ing turn around in a red chair, you get a deal? That's crazy. I don't know what would make an artist do that. You're not an artist."
"I'll be fine," responded Lambert on a Florida radio show when asked how she would react if she were to run into him. "I'm sure that he would be groveling because he should."
"He probably didn't realize he was cutting down his friends when he did it, but either way, he said something stupid and it's going to take a long time to make it up to people that he offended," she added.
