AIG Shareholders Elect Twelve Directors - Quick Facts

American International Group Inc. (AIG) said Wednesday that its shareholders elected twelve directors at the company's annual meeting of shareholders. The shareholders also voted to support each of the proposals submitted by AIG.

The elected directors are Robert Benmosche, Don Cornwell, John Fitzpatrick, Laurette Koellner, Christopher Lynch, Arthur Martinez, George Miles Jr, Henry Miller, Robert Miller, Suzanne Nora Johnson, Ronald Rittenmeyer, and Douglas Steenland.

The company said that its shareholders approved a non-binding shareholder resolution to approve executive compensation.

In addition, the company's shareholders approved the selection of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the company independent registered public accounting firm for 2012.
