Texas-based Raj Foods Llc is recalling about 3,300 pounds of Halal beef samosa products because a meat ingredient may have been produced in a facility not federally inspected, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service said.

The products being recalled include: 12-oz. bags of "Raj Foods Halal Beef Samosa(s)," containing 12, 1-oz. beef samosas per bag.

The product was produced between August 9, 2011, and April 23, 2012, and was sold to supermarkets and restaurants in Texas. The product bears the establishment number "EST. 44163".

The Food Safety and Inspection Service, or FSIS, said it discovered the problem during a routine food safety assessment. The FSIS also said it has received no reports of illness due to consumption of these products.
