Conan O'Brien And David Letterman Slam Jay Leno On 'The Late Show'

Conan O'Brien made a special stop by "The Late Show with David Letterman" early this week and both comics were more than happy to take a few digs at their competitor Jay Leno. The pair started off the interview by just sitting in silence until Letterman commented on Leno as the odd man out.

"I think the longer we just sit here, the more uncomfortable it will make Jay," Letterman joked.

O'Brien then added fuel to the fire, noting: "You know Jay's watching," then did his best Leno impersonation, saying: "Dave doesn't look happy . . . I think he's gonna pack it in, soon."

O'Brien said he has moved on from his ouster from "The Late Show," noting:

"I feel terrific, I really do . . . I'm very lucky to get to go on television and to get to do my thing my way, and TBS lets me do whatever I want. They don't watch it, they don't care. Checks come in . . . and I have a great time. We took all of our people with us, so everybody is happy, so I'm thrilled. It worked out. I'm a lucky person."
