John Rich continues to give to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, this time by organizing a benefit concert featuring a number of his county music contemporaries. Rich initially won $1 million for the hospital by winning Celebrity Apprentice last year.
The benefit, entitled "St. Jude Presents John Rich & Friends," will be held on June 5 at the Cannon Center in Memphis and will feature performances by Kellie Pickler, Darius Rucker and comedian Jeff Foxworthy, as well as fellow Big & Rich cohort, Big Kenny.
"St. Jude Children's Research Hospital holds a very special place in my heart, that's why I'm excited to kick off the FedEx St. Jude Classic with the John Rich & Friends concert," Rich tells theboot.com. "I don't know how you could spend your time any better on this earth than to support something like St. Jude. It's truly God's work."
