Van Halen has reportedly axed 30 dates from their upcoming summer tour. The 80's rock icons will reportedly meet commitments up through June 28 in New Orleans, but will then cancel every other date, including stops in Milwaukee, Detroit, Salt Lake City and Cleveland.

Thus far there is no official word as to the reason for the cancellations, but a source close to the group has revealed that internal fighting is to blame. Speaking with Rolling Stone, the source said "the band is arguing like mad . . . they are fighting."

The tour was scheduled in support of their newest release A Different Kind of Truth, which marked their first new album with David Lee Roth since their classic 1984 release. No word has been issued by the band regarding refunds or rescheduled dates.
