Once again, Diamond Pet Foods has expanded the list of products that could contain the harmful bacteria Salmonella by including one more pet food.
The latest recall applies to Diamond Naturals Small Breed Adult Dog Lamb & Rice Formula samples, 6 pound and 18 pound bag sizes, manufactured on Aug. 26, 2011.
The product was distributed in Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin, the company said in a statement.
The Production Code & Best Before Dates of the affected product are

No illnesses have been reported related to the recalled product, says Diamond Pet Foods.
