Green Day has confirmed a performance at this year's upcoming Voodoo Fest in New Orleans on October 26-28 at the Superdome in New Orleans.
Billy Joe and company join an all-star lineup of acts scheduled to perform at this year's event including Neil Young, Skrillex, Justice, Tomahawk, Say Anything, Bootsy Collins, Gary Clark Jr. and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
"I believe this year's line-up is developing into something really special," said Stephen Rehage, the founder/producer of the festival.
"Green Day's set in 2004 is one of the greatest performances in the festival's 13-year history," he added. "Having them choose to do their only U.S. show of 2012 at Voodoo is pretty extraordinary. And the confirmation of Neil Young & Crazy Horse is epic. They are one of a handful of artists that you hope to have the privilege to work with at some point in your career."
