Fluor Corp. (FLR) said Sunday that it has completed construction of a polysilicon plant in Xinyu City, China, for Chinese solar products maker LDK Solar Co. Ltd. (LDK).
Fluor provided engineering, procurement and construction management services for the plant, which produces solar-grade silicon for the photovoltaic industry. The company noted that the plant is one of the largest such production facilities in the world.
