Earnings Watch For May 21 (CPB, JDAS, LOW, URBN)

Campbell Soup Co. (CPB) is expected to report results for the third quarter. The company is expected to earn $0.52 per share on revenues of $1.81 billion, while in the year-ago quarter, earnings and revenue were $0.57 per share and $1.81 billion respectively. The shares closed Friday at $33.40. (The stock up about 2% in Q3; MA(50)- $33.49; MA(100)- $32.94; 52-wk H/L $35.39/$29.69)

Software solutions provider JDA Software Group Inc. (JDAS) is due to report first-quarter results. Earnings and revenue for the quarter are expected to be $0.57 per share and $171.24 million respectively. In the previous year, the company earned $0.45 per share on revenues of $163.61 million. On Friday, the shares closed trade at $27.34. (The stock declined almost 15% in Q1; MA(50)- $27.58; MA(100)- $28.01; 52-wk H/L $34.83/$22.09)

Lowe's Companies Inc. (LOW) is scheduled to post first-quarter results. The home improvement retailer is expected to record earnings of $0.42 per share versus $0.34 per share last year, on revenues of $12.99 billion. Shares of LOW closed Friday's trade at $28.48. (The stock rose almost 24% in Q1; MA(50)- $30.87; MA(100)- $28.93; 52-wk H/L $32.29/$18.07)

Lifestyle specialty retailer Urban Outfitters Inc. (URBN) is slated to report results for the first quarter. The online auctioneer is expected to report a profit of $0.20 per share compared to $0.23 per share a year ago, with revenues estimated at $579.33 million. The stock closed Friday at $25.62. (The stock gained nearly 6% in Q1; MA(50)- $28.56; MA(100)- $27.97; 52-wk H/L $33.90/$21.47)

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. (KKD), Nordson Corp. (NDSN) and Tech Data Corp. (TECD) will also report their results today.
