Kristen Wiig has given her final appearance on "Saturday Night Live." The "Bridesmaids" star appeared on the show for seven years and got a musical send-off from her fellow cast members along with guest host Mick Jagger.
Wiig's departure had not previously been confirmed by NBC, but rumors had swirled about her possible departure following her massive success with "Bridesmaids." She is just one of several current cast members that are rumored to exit including Jason Sudeikis and Andy Samberg.
She spoke about her possible decision to leave the show on Alec Baldwin's podcast "Here's The Thing" saying:
"I will say that when I do leave it's not because I'm sick of it and not because I see something better or anything like that. It's just that it's time. When I do leave, it will be the hardest thing. I mean, you know. You're there for a week and on Saturday night you're sad because you leave these people."
