Bollywood star and "Celebrity Big Brother" winner Shilpa Shetty has given birth to a son. Her husband Raj Kundra broke the news via Twitter, saying both are healthy and they are thrilled.
"God has blessed us with a beautiful baby boy. Both mother and baby are fine. I am thrilled to bits," he tweeted.
Raj also took time to thank the staff at their hospital saying:
"A big thank you to my wife @TheShilpaShetty for the bestest gift ever, DR Kiran Cohelo and all the staff at Hinduja Hospital," he added.
In addition to the new baby, Shilpa has also made recent headlines when she confirmed that she supports stem cell medicine, telling IBN Live:
"Stem cell banking gives me the peace of mind for my baby's health. By banking stem cells, my child will have more medical options in the future."
