Shriram EPC Limited Wins Rs.165 Crore Order From Kerala Water Authority

Shriram EPC Ltd. said it had bagged an order for Rs.165 crore from the Kerala Water Authority for creating a water distribution network for the city of Kozhikode and its adjoining villages.

The scope of contract involves supply and laying of PVC, DI and GI pipes totaling more than 1,000 km in length. The completion period is 18 months.

Managing Director & CEO T. Shivaraman said, "We are pleased to announce these order wins from the Kerala Water Authority for creating a water distribution network for Kozhikode and its nearby villages. Our diversified business model has helped us to carry a fairly strong order book which today, stand at Rs.3,194 crore in a challenging environment for capital expenditures/projects. Business visibility remains comfortable and we are focused on profitable execution of our order book."

At the BSE, Shriram EPC shares are currently trading at Rs.58, after touching a new low of Rs.57.70 in early session.
