Ashanti has delayed the release of her new LP Braveheart yet once again. This time the album has been pushed back to August 28.

The album was initially due on April 17, before getting pushed back to June 19. The lead single, "The Woman You Love" (featuring Busta Rhymes), has failed to crack the Billboard Hot 100, and no follow-up single has yet been announced.

Braveheart is the first album released on Ashy's Written Entertainment label, a move which she previously admitted was daunting:

"It was really important to me to just become an owner," said the R&B singer. "It was really scary and really nerve-racking going into it businesswise, but it was the best business move I could have ever made. I own my masters and the percentages are completely different, so I'm very excited about that."
