Mick Jagger, in his latest appearance on Saturday Night Live, poked fun at Steven Tyler by impersonating him in a skit which nodded to the Aerosmith frontman's role on American Idol.

The skit featured a made-up program, So You Think You Can Dance . . . at an Outdoor Music Festival, in which impersonated celebs judged the dancing prowess of contestants.

The sketch also goofed on Carlos Santana (Fred Armisen) and Jewel (Abby Elliott).

Jagger hosted the final episode of SNL's 37th season and he was also the musical guest. He was not, as some speculated, backed by his usual outfit, the Rolling Stones; instead, he was backed alternately by the Arcade Fire and the Foo Fighters.

Keith Richards shot down rumors of an appearance prior to the show's airing:

"I spoke to Mick and he said it's something that he said yes to many months ago, so he's just doing it."
