Sycamore Networks Q3 Loss Widens - Quick Facts

Sycamore Networks Inc.'s (SCMR: Quote) third-quarter GAAP net loss widened to $5.1 million, or $0.18 per share, from $4.1 million, or $0.14 per share loss last year. Also, the company reported a wider third-quarter non-GAAP net loss of $4.14 million, or $0.14 per share, compared with a loss of $3.38 million, or $0.12 per share in the previous year.

Revenue for the third quarter of fiscal 2012 was $11.92 million, versus $11.86 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2011.

The company's quarterly earnings per share, excluding items, also came in above analysts' expectations as did its quarterly sales.
