HEICO Corp. (HEI: Quote) reported second quarter net income of $0.36 per share after the bell Tuesday, up from $0.32 per share in the previous year.
HEICO gapped up at the open Wednesday and climbed in the first half hour of trade. The stock advanced further going into the close and finished up by 3.39 at $41.84, with volume at a 3-month high. HEICO broke out to a one-month high and re-crossed its 50-day moving average.
