OSI Systems, Inc. (OSIS) announced that its healthcare division, Spacelabs Healthcare, received Health Canada's Medical Device License to market the Arkon high-performance anesthesia delivery system to all Canadian provinces.
Arkon provides the anesthetist with highly accurate and reliable tools to monitor a patient under anesthesia more effectively and its flexible workstation configuration allows enhanced user customization.
Deepak Chopra, OSI Systems chief executive officer, stated, "Building upon Arkon's FDA 510(k) clearance earlier this year, we now look forward to providing Arkon to all Canadian healthcare facilities."
