Guns N' Roses Deny Hiring Models To Fill Front Rows Of Concert

Gun N' Roses have denied claims that they hired models to fill up the front rows at a recent concert in Glasgow, Scotland. News of the rumor broke after the U.K.'s Daily Record ran a story claiming that the band contacted a modeling agency to fill the audience with beautiful fans.

Speaking with Classic Rock Magazine, guitarist Bumblefoot says he's glad to see gorgeous women in the house, but they weren't hired by the band:

"I have nothing against the models. They were offered a fun night out and they deserve equal treatment from the band that any person at the show should get. But the band did not request it. This stuff comes from other people that are offering a good time by whatever means they have — and that's fine," he explained.

He also said he understands why some friends and fans get upset when they think other people are getting the VIP treatment:

"A lot of fans feel that access is being granted to people who haven't earned it," he says. "By that I mean standing loyally by the band for years, buying a ticket, waiting on sore feet for hours and hours, cheering until they have no voice left, staying to the end and trying to find a way home after public transport has been shut down. And doing it again the next time we're in town."
