Sharon Stone Sued By Nanny

A former nanny employed by Sharon Stone is suing the actress for unfair dismissal as well as harassment. According to a report from the BBC, Erlinda Elemen was a live-in nanny with the family for four years starting in 2008 and worked with them for several years before moving in.

Elemen claims that Stone wrongfully fired her after discovering that she was paid overtime for working during the holidays. The woman also claims that Stone repeatedly mocked her Filipino accent as well as her religious beliefs.

Stone's rep Paul Bloch said the charges are unfounded and Elemen is "obviously looking for another opportunity to cash in."

"This is a frivolous lawsuit for absurd claims that are made-up and fabricated. Sharon Stone will be completely vindicated in court," he added in a statement.
