The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.31. Full year adjusted EPS is expected to be between $1.13 and $1.16, up from previous guidance of $1.09 to $1.13. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $1.14.
AFC Enterprises gapped open higher Thursday and rose sharply in early trade, before settling into a range. Shares finished up by 2.74 at $20.85, with volume at nearly a 6-month high. The stock leaped to a new high for the year.
