Thailand's trade deficit declined in April despite a fall in exports, the Ministry of Commerce said Friday.
The shortfall fell to $2.87 billion from $4.59 billion in March. The April deficit came in line with economists' expectations.
Exports dropped 3.67 percent in April from a year ago, slower than the 6.5 percent drop in the previous month. Meanwhile, growth in imports slowed to 7.87 percent from 25.6 percent a month ago.
