One of the final recordings from the late Whitney Houston has made its way online. "His Eye Is On the Sparrow" is one of the last recordings from the legendary diva, recorded for the upcoming movie Sparkle, in which she stars alongside Jordin Sparks.
The track is a gospel composition and is one of the solo numbers by Houston recorded for the official soundtrack. "His Eye Is On the Sparrow" follows the recent debut of "Celebrate," which was the final track Houston recorded before she passed away. Sparkle will be released in cinemas on August 17.
Recently, Houston was awarded a posthumous Billboard Millennium Award at the 2012 Billboard Awards in Las Vegas. She passed away this past February when she was found in suite 434 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, submerged in the bathtub.
