VimpelCom Ltd. (VIP) announced Friday morning that the Moscow Arbitration Court has issued a new, expanded injunction order in connection with the previously announced claim by the Russian Federal Anti-monopoly Service against two of the largest shareholders of VimpelCom.
VimpelCom dropped sharply in early trade Friday and declined further in the first half of the afternoon. The stock closed down by 1.42 at $7.31, on the highest volume in nearly 11 months. VimpelCom has been on a downward trend for the past 3 months and set a new low for the year.
