Aerosmith debuted the new song "Legendary Child" on the season finale of American Idol this past week.
The rockers performed two songs on the show, starting off with "Legendary Child," which sounded like a mixture of "Eat the Rich" and "Get a Grip." One reason for this sound may be because the song originally came to fruition as a demo from the sessions for the 1993 album, also titled, Get A Grip.
For the second song, the band busted out "Walk This Way," from the 1975 album Toys in the Attic.
Phillip Phillips was crowned the new American Idol during the show's eleventh season finale, beating out runner-up Jessica Sanchez. After Phillips was announced as the winner, he broke down in tears and performed his new single, "Home."
