Following the release of Conference Board's consumer confidence report for May at 10:00 am ET, the US dollar showed mixed performance against its major opponents. While the greenback traded weaker against the yen, it held steady against the rest of majors. As of 10:02 am ET, the greenback was trading at 1.2535 against the euro, 0.9588 against the Swiss franc, 1.5675 against the pound and 79.48 against the yen.
