Joe Walsh has premiered his first single "Wrecking Ball" from his new solo album Analog Man. The Eagles member debuted the song with a live performance and interview on Fox411.
In the interview, the 64-year-old musician talked about the album, his time with the Eagles, and his newfound sobriety.
Walsh explains that getting used to playing while sober was a bit of a challenge: "It was really scary at first, but when I realized that I didn't have to have a buzz and I could actually play better, it was an awakening, and that happened across the board."
Regarding his first solo album in two decades, Walsh says that "it's been 20 years and I have a lot to say. These songs come from the heart."
Analog Man goes on sale June 5.
