The Japanese yen retreated slightly from its early highs against most major counterparts in the early European session on Thursday.
The yen is now trading at 122.10 against the pound, 97.77 against the euro, 81.39 against the franc, 59.53 against the NZ dollar, 76.65 against the loonie and 76.66 against the aussie, down from Asian session's new multi-month highs of 121.82, 97.38, 81.10, 59.17, 76.46 and 76.27, respectively.
