Flowers Foods Inc. (FLO: Quote) announced Thursday morning that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Lepage Bakeries Inc. for $370 million in cash and stock.
Flowers Foods gapped open higher Thursday and has spiked to the upside in early trade. Shares are now up 1.50 at $22.33. The stock has broken out to a 10-month high.
