Frederick's Of Hollywood Group May Comparable Store Sales Decline 4.0%

Frederick's of Hollywood Group Inc. (FOH: Quote) announced that its comparable store sales for the the month of May decreased 4.0% compared to the four weeks ended May 28, 2011.

Also, the company announced a comparable store sales increase of 2.9% for the 43 weeks ended May 26, 2012, compared to the 43 weeks ended May 28, 2011.

Frederick's of Hollywood Group Inc., through its subsidiaries, sells women's intimate apparel, swimwear and related products under its proprietary Frederick's of Hollywood brand through 117 specialty retail stores, a catalog and an online shop at http://www.fredericks.com/.

After reporting a sharp drop in new orders for manufactured durable goods in the previous month, the Commerce Department released a report on Friday showing that durable goods orders rebounded by more than anticipated in the month of April. The report said durable goods orders surged up by 3.3 percent in April after tumbling by a revised 5.9 percent in March.
