Tour memorabilia from Taylor Swift's Speak Now tour will be displayed at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville in the new exhibit, Taylor Swift: Speak Now—Treasures from the World Tour. Swift recently donated $4 million to the Hall of Fame.
Highlights of the exhibit include several pieces of wardrobe, such as a Roberto Cavalli ombre gold bugle-beaded dress, and instruments, such as the red Gibson Les Paul model electric guitar featured during her performance of "The Story of Us."
"Taylor is at the forefront of what's going on now in music, and we strive to be relevant. This lends itself to a large exhibition, simply because of how elaborate the tour itself was. It's sort of tailor-made for us to jump off and start looking at summertime, limited-run [exhibitions]," said director Kyle Young of the decision to feature Swift memorabilia.
The exhibit opens June 6 and closes November 5.
