Mumford & Sons were brought up on the stage for a performance of Bruce Springsteen's 1980 hit, "Hungry Heart" on May 28 at the Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands.

The Boss, who headlined the fest, seemed in good spirits as he danced and jumped about the stage while adding vocals to the track. A fan caught the performance on video, which is currently circulating the web.

During Mumford's set, lead man Marcus Mumford told the crowd that the band had finished recording the follow-up to 2009's Sigh No More. Bandmate Ben Lovett confirmed a September 24 release date.

"There's similarities," Lovett previously told Rolling Stone. "Nothing's really changed in our dynamic as a band. We write songs together and they're very much based in our experiences. The instruments are pretty much the same, except for a few we've picked up along the way."
