Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has confirmed that the band is recording demo versions of songs for a new album.
Taylor explained via Twitter that the members have not yet officially started recording the LP but that it may only be a matter of time.
"To anyone asking, Slipknot is not currently working on an album. Yet. We are putting together demos, but we're not recording. Yet."
Sean "Clown" Crahan opened up on the band's creative process several months ago.
"Everyone in the band is writing all the time," he said. "Whether it's a micro-cassette recorder or a memo on your iPhone or Corey writing random things he invents in his head on a piece of paper or Joey saying 'I got nothing to do, I'm gonna go in the studio with all these ideas."
