At 8:30 am ET Friday, the U.S. jobs data for May, personal income and spending report for April are scheduled for release. Ahead of these reports, the greenback showed mixed trading against its major counterparts. While the dollar fell against the yen, it rose against the franc and the euro. Against the pound, the dollar pulled back slightly from an early high.
As of 8:25 am ET, the greenback was worth 1.5313 against the pound, 78.12 against the yen, 1.2327 against the euro and 0.9744 against the franc.
