Deere Makes Changes To Senior Management Team - Quick Facts

Citing the anticipated retirements of two executives, Deere & Co. (DE) on Friday announced changes to its senior management team.

According to the company, David Everitt, president of the agriculture and turf division, and James Jenkins, senior vice president and general counsel, have agreed to communicate their retirement plans early so that Deere may begin a transition of their key roles in the organization.

Samuel Allen, chairman and chief executive officer, said James Field has been appointed President, Agriculture & Turf Division - Americas, Australia and the Global Harvesting and Turf Platforms.

Rajesh Kalathur was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He will replace Field, who currently serves in that position.

Mark von Pentz will continue as President, Agriculture & Turf Division. His responsibilities now includes Europe, Asia, Africa and the Global Tractor Platform.

Max Guinn will be Senior Vice President, Human Resources, Communications, Public Affairs, and Labor Relations. John May is appointed as President Agricultural Solutions & Chief Information Officer.

Effective January 1, 2013, Mary Jones is appointed Senior Vice President and General Counsel, succeeding James Jenkins.
