Spanish pop sensation Alejandro Sanz has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Raquel Perera in a small private ceremony outside of Barcelona on May 23. The couple, aged 43 and 37, respectively, have been together for four years and have an 11-month-old son together.
According to people.com, the couple held the ceremony at their farm in the countryside, which is also where Sanz held the christening ceremony for their child. It is the second marriage for Sanz, who originates from the Spanish city of Cadiz.
The couple kept the service under wraps until it was over, at which point they released and official statement saying: "It was a very beautiful day, unique and moving and everything went as we had dreamed."
