Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson stopped the band's May 25 show in Atlantic City to boot a male fan who had allegedly punched a woman in the audience. The group was playing their signature track "Stupid Girl" when Manson had security guards eject the man.
"Dude, never hit a f*****g woman, what is wrong with you man," she said.
As security guards dragged the man away he reportedy uttered an excuse for his behavior to which Manson replied, "She started it? Oh, Jesus Christ - OK."
"You're fighting baby, you gotta leave now. You can't f*****g fight, man. You can't fight. I'm sorry, that's the rules, man. We just need to all simmer down," she added.
The band is currently touring in support of their newest release Not Your Kind Of People.
